Task Description Question! Part 1: In a written response, in relation to one of the health priority issues (Diabetes, Mental health issues, injury, Respiratory issues) describe the nature of the condition, the extent of the problem, the risk factors, determinants of health and the groups at risk for the condition. Use only Australian statistics. (5 marks)
Question! Part 2: Justify the inclusion of your chosen condition as a National Priority Health Issue. Apply the criteria of social justice principles (Equity, Diversity & Supportive Environments), potential for prevention and early intervention and costs to the individual and community to help in your justification. (10 marks)
Question 2: For your chosen condition (from Question 1 Part 1), analyse a health promotion strategy/initiative (only use ones given in class) that aims to decrease the negative effects of particular health determinants on the condition. (15 marks)
