The American Medical News published a report titled ‘Many men exhibit health care avoidance.’ Their point is that most men interact infrequently with the health system perhaps due to a learned indifference to symptoms that helps them in athletics but not in recognition of required health services. The premise is based on the fact that women live longer and frequently present with earlier disease staging.
