Your goal would be to resolve the dispute and position the organization in a positive light. Therefore, your communication goal will be to collect information from the patient (often done through a liaison person) in a respectful manner, listen to patients concerns and instill hope by informing the patient you will look into this immediately, while assuring high quality of care of the facility.
