Working on your own, you are required to prepare a draft essay of approximately 1000 words on the following topic:
Many tertiary students report that the workload at university causes them to feel stressed. Define stress, explain what can cause students to feel stressed and suggest three ways that students can cope better with stress at university.

Final Essay Submission Details
You are required to submit both a paper and electronic copy of your essay.
Electronic Copy:
You must submit your Final Essay electronically via Turn-it-in (plagiarism and collusion detection software used by QIBT) BEFORE submitting your paper copy in Week 11. Your teacher will provide you with details regarding how to submit your Final Essay electronically. When submitting, please make sure that you use your Student ID as your user name when setting up your profile and in the title of your file.
Note: Essays NOT submitted electronically will not receive a mark.

You are required to submit a paper copy of your Final Essay together with the following documents to your teacher at the beginning of your class in Week 11:

· A printed copy of your Final Essay
· Marked Draft Essay with feedback provided (returned to you in Week 9)
· A photocopy of one page from one of your researched sources with the information you have quoted, paraphrased or summarised within the body of your essay underlined or highlighted
· Checklist for Reliability of Sources (Essay), available in your workbook
· A copy of the Final Essay Marking Criteria Sheet
· Printed copy of Turn-it-in Originality Report showing entire final essay & % of match
Note: A ‘Result Withheld’ grade will be awarded where it is suspected that the language within the essay is not the student’s own, until further investigations/discussions have taken place.
Note: Marks will be reduced where Internet sites, class notes or the course workbook have been used as sources within the essay. A ‘Result Withheld’ grade will be awarded where there is evidence of copying from sources without acknowledgement until further investigations/discussions are conducted.
