ECA Code of Ethics discussed in relation with children, the educator, and early childhood setting will create and maintain safe, healthy, inclusive environments that support children’s agency and enhance their learning (Early Childhood Australia, 2017). Inclusion involves normalization and deinstitutionalization by breaking the barriers to provide free appropriate education for children with special needs (Early Childhood Australia, n.d.). Cologon (2013) emphasized that inclusion has the potential to build friendship through interpersonal skills, greater acceptability of children with disabilities in the classroom, respect and understand diversity regardless of disabilities.
